Cynthia F. Montgomery, 72 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at her home. Mrs. Montgomery was born in Galax, Virginia to the late Walter and Ruth Owens Farmer. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Samuel Montgomery and special cousin, Sylvia Fields.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle M. and Steve Martin of Hillsville; grandchildren, Lindsay Brooke Martin, Cassie Martin Dalton and Blake Dalton, and Sami Elizabeth Martin; soon to be great-grandson, Emmett Dalton; in-laws, Jim and Erma Montgomery and John Montgomery; niece, Kathleen Montgomery; and nephew, John Montgomery, Jr..

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Lucas Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the John P. Webb Cemetery.
