Custis Harman Webb, 87, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jabe Harman and Lura Cox Webb. Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Geneva Webb of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jerry Vass of Hillsville; sister, Mrs. Warren (Alma) Sutphin of Hillsville; grandson and spouse, Kris and Paige Vass of Harrisonburg, VA; great grandson, Gram Carter Vass. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Sandy Hendrick officiating. Military rites will be conducted by Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. Burial will follow in the Crooked Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
