Curtis Elwood Davis 72, of Fancy Gap, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Davis was born in Carroll County to the late Glady and Audrey Bunn Davis. He was preceded in death by his brother Coy Davis. Survivors include his wife, Irene F. Davis of the home, Daughter, Michelle Marshall and husband, Danny of Woodlawn, Step-Grandson, Jeff Lineberry and wife, Tina of Hillsville, Step- Great-Grandchildren, Alex Lineberry, Kyra Lineberry and Nikkie Boyles. Mr. Davis is also survived by his brothers, Ricky Davis and Marsha of Fancy Gap, Clinton Davis and Becky of Low Gap, his sisters, Delta Brinager and husband, Jerry of Fancy Gap, Debbie Spears and husband, Virgil of Fancy Gap, Janet Ruiz and husband Jessie of CA. and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Cas Horton and Rev. Winford Davis officiating. The burial will follow in the Independence Cemetery in Fancy Gap. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the services.
