Curtis Lee Bolen, 81 of Woodlawn, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mr. Bolen was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Garfield and Imo Bolen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by and infant son, Leonard Bolen brothers, Jack Bolen and Virgil Bolen; and great-grandchild, Malachi Stevens.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Bolen; children Lee Bolen (Tammy) and Kelly Bolen; grandchildren, Shane Cummings (Breanna), Chase Stevens (Baylee), Hannah McCarn and Kristin McCarn; siblings, Beverly Clontz (Mike), E.G. Bolen (Linda), and Ray Bolen (Irene); step-children, Darren Lineberry (Lisa), and Jeff Campbell (Kristen); and great-grandchildren, Aaron Stevens, Daylen Stevens, Emalee Stevens, and Baylee Cummings.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ray Bolen officiating.  Burial will follow in the Farmer Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
