Creighton H. Puckett, 86, of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mr. Puckett was born in Coalwood, WV to the late Elmer Jonah and Hettie Cox Puckett. He is survived by his wife Mavis M. Puckett of the home; step children and spouses Donald and Dana Martin of Hillsville, Joyce Martin Thacker and husband Will of Rock Hill, SC, and Tommy and Bobbietta Martin of Hillsville; sister Mildred Clark of Shelby, MT; brother Pete Coy Puckett of Salt Lake City, UT; and three step grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
