Cova Lea Dalton, 69, of Dugspur, VA, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Laurel Meadows Nursing Home in Laurel Fork, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mattie Turman McGrady and two sisters, Peggy Cox and Willie Dean McGrady. She is survived by one sister, Louise Dalton of Dugspur; foster brother, Junior Turman; two nieces, Rebecca Webb of Lexington, NC and Debbie and Jimmy Edwards of Hillsville; one great niece, Anna Edwards; a great nephew, Zachary Edwards; her best friend and cousin, Jerry Nester; a special aunt, Sereta Goad; and several cousins, special friends and her guardian angel, Freddie Younce. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Harold Fenstermaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Turman Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
