Corine Ingole Elkins, 79, of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was originally from McDowell County, WV.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Leona Albany Ingole.

Mrs. Elkins is survived by her husband of 45 years Gene W. Elkins; special friends at the Hillsville Christian Church and very special friends Russell and Patty Burkholder.

Graveside service with burial to follow will be held at Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Mr. Erroll Ray Jett and Dr. Jim Kilbourne officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers gifts may made to the Hillsville Christian Church. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
