Coretta L. Marshall, 98 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at her home.  Mrs. Marshall was born in West Virginia to the late Elbert Lee and Marion Margaret Marshall Largen.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Clarence L. Marshall, as well as her brother, Elbert Marshall Largen and son-in-law, Robert F. Spraker, II.

Survivors include her children Carolyn M. Spraker, David Marshall (Carolyn), Bonita Durham (Paxton), Susan M. Corbett, and Debra M. Parker (C.W.); sister, June Largen Bottoms;  grandchildren Elizabeth S. Oliver, Robert F. Spraker III (Jennifer), Carrie M. Carter (Shawn), Jessica M. Vaughn (Craig), Joe Durham, Joshua Durham (Rachael), Jacqueline Corbett (Abhinav Sharma) and Marshall Corbett, Austin Parker (Hanna), Jonathan D. Parker (Amy Jo), Chadwick N. Parker (Ashley); special grandchild, Sharon Spiggs; great-grandchildren Alex Oliver (Monica), Jenna Theut (Matthew), Branson Carter, Bailey Vaughn, Cora Vaughn, Riley Spraker, Kayden Spraker, Joey Parker, Emma Parker, Holden Parker, Grant Parker, Madeline Parker, Penelope Sharma, Claire Durham, and Benjamin Durham.

A graveside service with burial will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marion Marshall Cemetery with Pastor Shawn Carter officiating.  The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
