Cora Alice Goad Tallent, 86 of Hillsville passed away January 9, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Ms. Tallent is survived by sisters Vera Guynn, Lula Lewis, and Freda Martin all of Hillsville; nieces & nephews Richard & Mildred Marshall, Roxana & David Kamoda, Rhonda Marshall, and Ramona & Adam Ashton all of Hillsville; and great nieces & nephews Lauren Kamoda, Colin Kamoda, Amber Ashton and Avery Ashton. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 12, 2006 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Hillsville at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Dewey Felts and Elder David Kamoda officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday night at the church.
