Cookie Linkous, 58 of Hillsville, went to Heaven on October 10, 2008. Cookie was born in Willis, VA on December 26, 1949 to Carl and Mary Lee Huff. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Linkous. She is also survived by her sons and daughters-in-law and her daughters and sons-in-law; three brothers; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The service was held, October 12, 2008 at 2:00 PM in Mountain View Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Martin officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please donate blood or make a donation to the Brain Cancer Society.
