Connie Satch Elmo Stanley, Jr., 49 of Meadows of Dan, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2008. Mr. Stanley is survived by two sons & daughters-in-law Cecil Wayne & Ginger Stanley of Galax and Rusty Lee & Alisha Stanley of Floyd; mother Peggy Stanley of Meadows of Dan; granddaughter Allison Stanley; sister Shelia Belcher of Floyd; brothers Kenneth Lee Stanley of Indian Valley and James Russell Stanley of Floyd; and special friend Kristine Pittman of Dugspur.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Shade Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
