Connie Martin Richardson, age 61 of Concord, NC, went to be with his precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 5, 2016. He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Bonnie Nester Richardson.

He was born on September 18, 1954 to the late Connie W. Richardson and Audra Montgomery Richardson. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two brothers and their wives, Colin E. Richardson and Shirley of Raphine, VA, and Thomas W. Richardson and Ellen of Hillsville, VA; one sister, Gwendolyn Loftis of Spartanburg, SC; his mother, Audra Richardson of Hillsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Martin retired from Yellow Freight Systems. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his tractor on his farm in Virginia. He was a praying man and spent much time each day in intercessory prayer. He loved being part of the ministry of bringing the Jews back to their homeland. Donations can be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews P.O. A private graveside service was held at the Bond Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel served the Richardson family.
