Connie Lynn Montgomery Thomas, 40, of Meadows of Dan passed away on February 27, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Arlie Thomas of the home; daughters Ashley L. Thomas of Meadows of Dan, Stacy Gregory of Stuart, Heather Edwards of Bassett; son Ryan A. D. Thomas of Meadows of Dan; mother Betty Holcomb; father and step-mother Gerald Morris & Carol Montgomery of Woodlawn; brothers and sister-in-law Jeff Montgomery of Tennessee, Steven & Jennifer Reeves of Galax; sisters and brothers-in-law Lisa & Brett Williams of Texas, Tonya & Jeff Steeter of Texas, Megan & Wesley McBride of Galax, Amy Botella of Galax; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2:30 PM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel, with Pastor Nathan Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Shade Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 2, 2009 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
