Connie Sue Cordell, 51, of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Cordell was born in Hartford, Maryland to the late Delzie Edward Cordell, Sr. and Betty Elaine Strong Cordell.

Survivors include her children, Samantha Elaine Troyer or Airville, PA and Timothy Edward Cordell of Hillsville; sister, Cynthia Cordell of Elkton, MD; brothers, Delzie Edward Cordell, Jr. of Hillsville and Jerry Clifton Cordell of Perryville, MD; and two grandchildren, Savannah Troyer and Eli Cordell.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Victory Way Baptist Church at 10:00 AM with Pastor Mike Wells officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 9:30 until 10:00 AM prior to the service time. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
