Conaleah Dickerson, 94 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Independence.  Mrs. Dickerson was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late George and Myrtle Dalton Barley.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Berlin Marlow Dickerson and sister, Gaynell Melton.

Survivors include her sons, Darrell Dickerson (Bonnie) and Gerald Dickerson all of Hillsville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

A private graveside with inurnment will be held at the Gardner Memorial Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gardner Memorial Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
