Collon Wayne (Bear) Dalton, 67, of Woodlawn passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Dalton was preceded in death by his parents, Friel Edwin and Zenna Gay Fowler Dalton; brother, Cecil Edwin Dalton. Survivors include his son, Eddie Dalton of Woodlawn; four sisters and brothers in-laws, Deloris Cabinum of Lincolnton, NC, Linda and Roger Wilson of Woodlawn, Carolyn and Jerry Martin of Pilot Mt., NC; and Mildred and Butch Smith of Cana. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Dalton Hill Christian Church with Pastor Jason Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Dalton Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Dalton family.
