Obituary

Clyde Wesley Lineberry, 82, of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at his home. Mr. Lineberry was born in Carroll County to the late Thornton Wesley and Zella Harmon Lineberry. He was a Korean War Veteran and a member of the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. He was a longtime member of Coulson Church of the Brethren and also a member of the Hillsville Masonic Lodge # 193 AF & AM. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lineberry was also preceded in death by his wife, Una Faye Horton Lineberry; brother, Marvin Lineberry; and sister, Betty Sue Christiana. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra F. and Ronnie Angel of Kernersville, NC and Cheryl and Don Quesenberry of Hillsville; brother and sister-in-law, Glen and JoAnn Lineberry of Kings Mt., NC; and grandsons and spouse, Brandon and Nicole Quesenberry and Cameron Quesenberry. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Coulson Church of the Brethren at 2:00 PM with Pastor Harry Shelton, Ms. Barbara New, and Chaplain Joe Hughes officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the church by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115 and Masonic Rites will be conducted at the graveside by the Hillsville Masonic Lodge # 193 AF & AM. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coulson Church Cemetery Fund c/o Allen Worrell. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
