Clyde Walter Jones, 78 of Hillsville, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife Arr Vila Jones; son Clyde Jr. Jones; and brother James Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his daughter & son-in-law Mae & Ronald Sellers of Lexington, NC; sons & daughter-in-law Bernard & Ollie Jones of Blacksburg, Aster Lowe of Galax, and Jessie Jones of Beckley, WV; step mother Essie Mayes of Cana; sisters Margaret J. Surratt of Mt. Airy, NC, Emma J. Moyer of Moneta, VA and Mable J. Wingler of Galax; brothers Howard Jones of Low Gap, Thomas Jones of Greenville, SC and Paul Jones of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Graveside services with burial following will be Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Susie Hawks Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Gordan Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday night at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel.
