Clyde Junior Burcham, 85 of Woodlawn, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at his home. Mr. Burcham was born in Carroll County to the late Guy Morgan & Ora Williams Burcham. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son James Clyde Burcham and brother Carl Burcham. He is survived by his wife Ila Mae Burcham of the home; daughters & sons-in-law Wanda & Odell Beasley of Hillsville and Joan & Jesse Osborne of Woodlawn; son & daughter-in-law Wesley & Martha Burcham of Woodlawn; brother & sister-in-law Boyd & Margaret Burcham of Lexington, NC; sisters & brothers-in-law Iva Lizenby of Herbert, LA, Edna & Carl Kalstrom of Roanoke, and Melva & Wayne East of Mount Airy, NC; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Gerald Tilley and Rev. Ronnie Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Mabe Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
