Clinton Ray Phillips, 66, of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Phillips was born in Carroll County to the late Giles E. and Edith Marshall Phillips. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Lee Phillips, Archie Dean Phillips, and Ralph E. Phillips. Survivors include his brother, Donnie Wayne Phillips of Laurel Fork; sisters and brother-in-law, Virginia and Artie Gallimore of Cana and Annie Mae Phillips of Stuart; and nephews, Harley Davidson Phillips and Dedrick Phillips. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Skyline Independent Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Bro. Garry Allen and Bro. James Orange officiating. Burial will follow in the Skyline Independent Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1:00 until service time. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
