Clessie Marie Quesenberry went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 5, 2009. Born December 17, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Raymond & Ester Goad. She was preceded in death by an infant son, James Marvin Quesenberry, and her brother, Manford Goad.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Stanley Quesenberry of Dugspur, VA; her son, Ronald N. Quesenberry and wife Evelyn of Roanoke, VA; her daughter, Deborah Bratton and husband, John of Dugspur; and her sister, Essie Gay Shupe of Dugspur. Also, two grandsons, Capt. Travis Quesenberry and wife Sarah of Roanoke, and Daniel Jones of Radford; two granddaughters Julie Payne and husband Ken of Salem, VA, and Kimberly Quesenberry Davis and husband Jeff of Gainesville, VA. She has four great grandsons, Andrew and Ryan Quesenberry, Christian Smith, and Richard Davis II.

She is missed greatly by her special feline friend, Snowball.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville. Interment will follow at the Marshall Cemetery in Dugspur. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. View Bible Camp or Joy Ranch Home for Children.
