Clay Frazier , 67 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, Virginia. Mr. Frazier was born in Carroll County to the late Palmer Rush and Lillian Beulah Parnell Frazier. In addition to his parents, Clay was also preceded in death by his son, Stephen Frazier; three sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria G. Frazier of the home; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Frazier of Draper; brother and sister-in-law, Homer and Phyllis Frazier of Hillsville; sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Ray Bolen of Hillsville; grandchildren and spouse, Ryan and Jami Frazier and Cassie Frazier; special great granddaughter, Hunter Frazier; and several nieces and nephews .

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Maria Grimm and Pastor Ray Bolen officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Island Creek United Methodist Church c/o Bob Snow P.O. Box 1831 Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
