Claudine Elizabeth Furrow Goad

Claudine Elizabeth Furrow Goad, 95 of Radford, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Blacksburg. Mrs. Goad was born in Max Meadows, Virginia to the late Henry Ellis and Eunice Fisher Furrow. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Anderson Goad, Sr.; son, Ronald Goad; brothers, Herman Furrow and David Furrow; and sisters, Dorothy Tinnell, Linda Hedrick and Estelle Stanley.

Survivors include her sons, William Goad (Lillian), Michael Goad, and Douglas Goad (Valerie); grandchildren, Tonya Hayton (Scott) and Crystal Dalton; great-grandchildren, Steven Akers, Christopher Akers, Amber Akers, Justin Burcham (Sierra), Brittany Burcham, Venston Dalton, and Landon Dalton; great-great grandchildren, Wyatt Marrs, Makenna Scott, Megan Burcham Payton Burcham, Joshua Burcham, E.J. Constintikes, Jaxyton Constintikes, Leo Constintikes, Raylim Constintikes, and Jacob Certa; brothers, Larry Furrow and Ray Furrow; and sister, Evelyn Wirt.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Colby Gallaway and Pastor Stacy Redd officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas-Beasley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
