Clarence B. Freeman, 82, of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Survivors include his daughter, Frances Broncot of Hillsville; step children and spouse, Laura and John Biggs of Hillsville, Isaac Sayers of Hillsville, and Ocie Walls of Dugspur; brother, James Freeman of Max Meadows; sister, Lillian Sutphin of Hillsville; five step grandchildren; and several step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Brother Dale Akers and Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in Thornsprings Cemetery in Pulaski, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
