Clara Ruth Stephens, 75, of Barren Springs, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Bland County Nursing and Rehab. Ms. Stephens was born in Virginia to the late James Campbell and Mary Jim Hurst Stephens.

Survivors include her niece, Rosemary Caves of Dublin; special friend, Alice Parsons; nephew, Joel Stephens of Galax; grand-niece, Ashley Rigney of Pulaski; sister-in-law, Rosa Felts of Hillsville; and special friend, Charles Redd of Galax.

Services will be held on Friday, at 5:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. A private burial will be held at a later date in the Stephens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM prior to the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
