Clara Jane Hiatt, 65, of Hillsville passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Hiatt; parents, Charlie and Clarabell Felts; sister, Ann Richardson; granddaughter, Lakon Johnson.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Raymond and Shannon Underwood of Hillsville, JoAnn and Eric Price of Galax, and Robert Lee; siblings and spouses, Curt and Christine Summey of Winston-Salem, NC, Jack Summey of Fries, Betty Akers of Fries, Mick and Charlotte Felts of Woodlawn, Don and Lena Coal of Pulaski, Kay Rutherford of Fries, and David and Tina Felts of Independence; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Stevens Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Monday, May 9, 2016. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Hiatt family.
