Christine Jenkins, 82 of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Jenkins was born in West Virginia to the late William & Nannie Fleeman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Jenkins. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her sons William Jenkins of Hillsville, Emery Jenkins of Galax, Jerry Jenkins of Taylor, SC, Randall Jenkins of Woodlawn and James Jenkins of Woodlawn, a daughter Patricia Ridings of Union, SC; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Hillsville Church of God with Rev. Carl Forrester and Rev. T.M. Felts officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 until service time.
