Christine Lineberry Annas, 73 of Brairleigh Apartments in Hillsville, VA passed away on December 15, 2022 at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, VA of congestive heart failure.   She was the daughter of the late Burgess A. and Mae Lineberry.

She is survived by her son, Bruce Annas of Galax, VA; sisters, Lahoma Bartley of Thomasville, NC, Carolyn Martin and Ronnie Maxwell of Chester, VA, and Judy and Joe Horton of Woodlawn, VA; brothers, Joseph Aaron (Tim) Lineberry, of Hillsville, VA, and Mitchell and Missy Lineberry, of Austinville, VA; many nieces, nephews, and friends; her two loving and devoted cats, Zoey and Chloe; several nieces, nephews, and friends; and her special friend, John Sankey.

Christine was a graduate of Tazewell High School and after returning to Hillsville, she began working for the next fifteen years at the old Sprague Company in Hillsville; as a certified CNA at Galax Nursing Home, at a Candy factory in N.C. and at Thalhimer's in Richmond, VA.

Christine was a special sister, always being the friend we needed and offering a kind word, no matter what the situation.  To those of us who had the honor to know and love her, especially our sister, Judy who was there for her daily for the past two and a half years, we found so much joy and peace in being with her and inspired by how humble and courageous she was in trying to get better.  God gave us a wonderful gift in having her as our sister.  Rest in the arms of Jesus.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
