Chester Willis Goad, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at his home. Mr. Goad was born in Carroll County to the late Dewey Chester & Daisy Gladys Alderman Goad. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother Patrick Eugene Goad. He is survived by his wife Geneva Baker Goad of the home; daughter & son-in-law Brenda & Rick Jones of Hillsville; granddaughter Felecia Jones; great granddaughter Haley Sells; nephew & spouse Ricky & Lisa Goad; sisters-in-law Jewel Lineberry, Guida Weddle, Virginia Marshall, Eileen Moran, Elva Price, and Sue Baker; and brother-in-law Bill Moran.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Bro. Danny Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in the Tom Alderman Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM. Flowers would be appreciated; however, donations may be made to Twin County Hospice P.O.
