Chester Lee Cochran, 91 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Hillsville Rehab and Health Care. Mr. Cochran was born in Carroll County to the late Emmett H. and Marie Blankenship Cochran.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette L. Cochran of the home and several cousins and other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 4:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett and Pastor Amanda Hatfield Moore officiating. Burial will be in the North End Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
