Cherly Ann Throckmorton, 68 of Arat, NC, passed away on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 at Mountain Valley – Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Throckmorton was born in Compton, CA, to the late Nicholas and Muriel Konoloff. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Throckmorton, and son, Thomas Throckmorton, Sr.

Survivors include her daughter, Linsay Rae Throckmorton; daughter-in-law, Crystal Throckmorton; grandchildren, Thomas Throckmorton Jr., Nicholas Throckmorton and fiancé, Courtney Kuhl, Christian Throckmorton, Edward McCraw III, Clinton McCraw, Tianna McCraw, Journey Mayes, and Ethan Mayes; great-grandchild, Sunny Throckmorton; sister, Becky Sadler; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 at the McCraw Family Cemetery with Ed Bowman officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
