Charlie Thomas Nester, 66 of Hillsville, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Nester is survived by his son & daughter-in-law Gregory & Stacey Nester of Thurmont, MD; brothers & sister-in-law Joseph Coltrane Nester and Jason David & Rebecca Nester all of Hillsville; and two grandchildren Erin Delaney Nester and Jaime Noelle Nester.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the James Gardner Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday night at the funeral home
