Charlie Bolden Largen, 88 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Largen was born in Carroll County to the late Omer Lee and Mattie Cruise Largen.

Survivors include his wife, Irleen Semones Largen of the home; four children and spouses, Margaret Largen Hill and Gary of Martinsville, Leonard Largen and fiancé, Yvonne Ricciardelli of Richmond, Janice Largen Bourne and Gary of Hillsville, and Kenneth Largen and Ann of Hillsville; brother and sister-in-law, Morrison and Elsie Largen of Hillsville; grandchildren, Michael Hill, Kelly Hill, Andrew Largen, Shana Largen, Ryan Largen and wife, Joelle, and Justin Largen; and great grandchildren, Camden Largen and Corbin Largen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Maria Grimm officiating. Burial will follow in the Semones Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W Grover King Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
