Charlie Wayne Catron, 52 of Galax, went home to be with his father Charles Catron and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Hospital.  Mr. Catron was born in Galax, Virginia on November 28, 1968.

Charlie was a loving father, son and friend.  He will be greatly missed by the many people who loved him.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Aleena and Austin Bedsaul; mother, Beverly Catron; fiancé, Cindy Bryant; grandchildren, Carter Bedsaul and Mahalee Bedsaul; several special aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his special family of law enforcement brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating.  Burial will follow in Monta Vista Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, prior to the funeral service.  The family request all guests to wear a mask and practice safe social distancing to prevent the spread of Covid-19.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
