Charles (Snake) Marshall, 68, of Laurel Fork passed away on Wednesday, January 09, 2013 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Gracie Henley Marshall; brothers, Ray Marshall and Roy Marshall; and sister, Susie Bolen. Survivors include his wife, Kay Marshall of the home; three daughters, Connie Frazier of Hillsville, Victoria Wood of Laurel Fork, and Tina Dalton of Pilot Mountain, NC; four sons, Dale Robertson of Abingdon, Bobby Taylor of Laurel Fork, Ricky Taylor of Meadows of Dan, and Anthony Taylor of NC; brother, Edward Marshall of Hillsville; and two sisters, Helen Brooks and Judy Quesenberry both of Hillsville. Eighteen grandchildren also survive. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Nathan Montgomery officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
