Charles Edward Lyons, 75 of Cana, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his home. Mr. Lyons was born in Carroll County to the late Ira Wilson and Nancy Caroline Edwards Lyons.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Brumfield Lyons of the home; son, Perry Lyons of Galax; daughter, Sherry Lyons of Cana; brother and sister-in-law, Elden and Mona Lyons of North Wilkesboro, NC; grandchildren, Renee Lyons, Samantha Lyons, Trinity Sechrest, and Kristopher Sechrest; and step-granddaughter, Delilah Morales.

Funerals services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Fancy Gap Pentecostal Holiness Church at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Edwards Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
