Charles K. Henley, 88, of Hillsville passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Gravley Henley; parents, Robert Yoman and Betty Hicks Henley; son, William Jerry Henley; four grandchildren Rena Grimes, Dawn Humphrey, Eric Grimes, and Keven Owens; two brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby and Cloatine Henley and Edward Henley and one sister-in-law and spouse, Alene and E.J. Ayers.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-laws, Wanda and Wade Humphrey of Hillsville, and Charlotte Henley and Larry Owens of Mississippi; sister-in-law, Imogene Henley of Galax; six grandchildren and spouses, Gerald and Amanda Humphrey, Carrie and Sean Ford, Gary and Crystal Grimes, Penny and Nelson Porter, Faith Henley Shumate, and Christie Owens; six great grandchildren and spouses, Bryson and Kaydie Grimes, Mariah and Ethan Grimes, Hunter and Leah Porter, Conner and Collin Humphrey, Brittany and Taylor Owens, and Addison Humphrey; two great-great grandchildren, Jayden Owens, and Madilyn Owens. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Pastor Gerald Humphrey and Pastor Stephen Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Military Rites will be conducted by Grayson V.F.W. Post 7726. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Henley Family.
