Charles Rupert Harless, 91 of Richmond, California and formerly of Skyland Lakes, Carroll County, VA, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2006 in California. Mr. Harless was preceded in death by his wife Lula Florence Billie Harless. He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law Susan & Dino Depianto of Richmond, CA; sisters-in-law Evelyn Wease of Skyland Lakes, VA, Helen Mamick of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Bee Webster of Austin, TX; granddaughter Lisa Rene VanDeVeer of Arlington, VA; great granddaughter Kate Allison VanDeVeer of Arlington and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Scott Robinson-Gouge officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Skyview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
