Charles Hall, 74 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at his home. Mr. Hall was born in Cana, Virginia to the late Troy and Vivian Dowell Hall. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Hobert Hall, James Everett Hall and Joseph Monroe Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Lois Henley Hall of the home; daughter, Charlene Hall-Hill and Brian of Woodlawn; special grandsons, Matthew Charles Hall of Alcoa, TN and Zachary Neil Cochran of Hillsville; special step-granddaughter, Erika Coble and Jesse of Austinville; special step-grandson, Ben Hill of Independence; sisters, Elaine Creed of Mount Airy, NC and Edith Tilley of Cana; and brother, Wade Hall of Cana.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Matthew Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the James Gardner Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
