Charles David Garland, 69 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at New River Valley Medical Center.  Mr. Garland was born in Asheville, NC to the late Charles Burnice Garland and Cora Revonda Wyatt Garland.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Gail Garland Hooks.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Devinney Garland; daughters, Melissa Graham (Cliff), Baley Brady (Stephen), and Lindsey Surmanek (Jasen); brother, Tim Garland and Arneeta Scott; brother-in-law, Lee Hooks; and grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew, Zackery, Carson and Abria.

A wake will be held at a later date.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
