Charles Edward Jones, 73, of Fancy Gap, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at his home. Mr. Jones was born in Cana, VA to the late Lawerence Edwards Jones, Jr. and Geneva Moles Jones. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Linwood Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia S. Jones of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Perry Musick of Low Gap; son, Chris Jones of Fancy Gap; grandchildren, Katie Ross and husband, Jameson of King, and Emily Smith and Haylee Smith both of Low Gap, NC; step-grandchildren, Abigail Musick and Adam Musick of Burlington, NC; and brother, Ronnie Jones of Pilot Mountain, NC.

Mr. Jones retired from the North Carolina Foam Industry of Mount Airy after 40 plus years of service and was also a veteran of the United States Army.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Mr. David Culler officiating. Burial will follow in the Elk Spur Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
