Charles Ray Easter, 77, of Austinville, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Easter was born August 26, 1934 to the late Kelly Howard and Ocie Alice Fowler Easter. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister Jean Chaney. He is survived by his wife Sonia L. Easter of the home; daughters and son-in-law Lisa and Jr. Frazier and Nancy E. Snyder all of Austinville; brother and sister-in-law Clayton and Avis Easter of Martinsville; sister and brother-in-law Lavern and Joe Goodin of Martinsville; brother-in-law Lonnis Chaney; granddaughters and spouse Laurie and Daniel Naff and Mindy Sue Vaughn; and special great grandson Daniel Luke Naff. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Bays officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
