Charles Millard Chandler, 81, of Meadows of Dan, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at his home. Mr. Chandler is survived by his sister Ola Puckett of Bell Springs, VA; five nieces Kathryn Guerra-Ortiz, June Wilson, Gayle Mays, Mary Chandler and Wanda Sutphin and two nephews Norman Hall and John Chandler.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Puckett Memorial Primitive Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Elder Melvin McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in the Puckett Memorial Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted at the graveside by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
