Charlene Kimrey Rippey, 85 of Cana, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Rippey was born in Texas County, Missouri to the late Thomas Loss and Salley Grove Kimrey. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Junior Rippey; a son, David G. Nester; and daughters, Rhonda Delp and Sandra Lineberry.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Janet and David Nester, Nancy and Jimmy Wiles, Anita Zehnder and James Coalson, and Donald and Missi Nester; step-children and spouses, Jimmy and Rhonda Rippey, Steve and Christine Rippey and Karen and Charles McMillian; daughter-in-law, Wanda Nester; brother, Perry Kimrey; sister, Betty Kimrey; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Crooked Oak Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jeremy Hendrick and Rev. Justin McCreary officiating. Burial will follow in the Crooked Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
