Cecil T. Shupe, 84, of Fort Chiswell, VA, passed away on Saturday, January 09, 2010 at Wytheville Community Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents Ballard Preston & Cecilia Shupe. Mr. Shupe is survived by his wife Annabelle Ruth Shupe of the home; son & daughter-in-law Larry & Vickie Shupe of Galax VA; daughter Nancy Shupe Dehart of Roanoke VA; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Military rites will be conducted by Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
