Cecil Cock, 98, of Meadows of Dan, VA died on September 27, 2012 at his home. He was born August 10, 1914 to the late Joel Cock and Ruth Martin Cock. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Pauline Willis Cock; nephews and nieces Glen and Liz Cock, Odell and Wilma DeHart, Leon and Zella Cock, Irene Smith, Shelby and Miles Harris and Betsy Caito. He is also survived by several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Cecil was a rural mail carrier for 50 years and he loved to farm. He and his wife, Pauline, traveled extensively with nieces and nephews. He was a member of Bluemont Presbyterian Church where he was an elder for many years. Rev. Stewart Childress will conduct the funeral service at Bluemont Presbyterian Church on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 3:00 PM. Mr. Cock will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Bluemont Cemetery.
