Cathy Nester Elliott, 63, passed away peacefully at home on August 25, 2024. She was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Cathy was born on January 13, 1961 in Austinville, VA. Cathy loved horses, children, games, reading, and visiting with family and friends. Her meals will be fondly remembered.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Ray Clifton Nester, her mother, Polly Ann White Nester, and several beloved brothers and sisters.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband and caretaker, Flint Elliott, of the home, her children: Nyoka Joy Ayers (Randy), Ray Ann Elliott, Sonya Elliott Porter (Justin), and Tracy Elliott Looney (Kelly), Six Grandchildren: Annabell, Enola, Lindsey, Mallori, KaiAnn, Jocelyn, and Three Great-grandchildren: Sebastian, Phoenix, and Athena. Also surviving are beloved brothers, sister, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her memory will be cherished with laughter and love.

A private remembrance will be held for family and close friends at a later date. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
