Cathy Kay Crouse, 70 of Dugspur, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Ms. Crouse was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Aldern and Lena Armstrong Clark.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lena Victoria Crouse; a grandson, Austin Heath White; and significant other, Bobby Anders.

Survivors include her children, Vickie Cummins (Jeremy), James "JR." Worrell (Shannon), and Thomas Simpkins (Crystal); four grandchildren, Brady Lineberry (Tisha), Creed Cummins, James Worrell, and Josiah Cummins; three-step grandchildren, Cassie Jones, Cadence Jones, and Chessa Jones; special pet, Baby Doll; and best friend, Nancy Beasley (Nana).

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Elder Tim McGrady officiating.  Burial will follow in the Simpkins Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
