Catherine Belle Gill (Swinger), 87 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Commonwealth Senior Living. Mrs. Gill was born in Johnstown, PA to the late Virgil and Nina Swinger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Marks Gill and a grandson, Jacob Gill.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Pamela and Mark Wigley, Vandy and Randall Colley, Robert and Laura Gill, Jeffrey and Jean Gill, and Dona and Jimmy Garrison; sister-in-law, Joey Swinger; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Draper Valley Presbyterian Church at 2755 Old Baltimore Road, Draper, VA 24324 at 2:00 PM with Chaplain Robbie Vance with Medi Hospice officiating. Burial will be in the Cox Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
