Cassie Lee Carlton, 91, of Hillsville passed away on Sunday, March 09, 2014 at Carrington Place in Wytheville, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Marion and Nance Jane Gardner Jennings. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James and Joyce Turman of Hillsville; brother, Theron Jennings of Illinois; three grandchildren, Mike Turman, Yvonne Beasley, and David Turman; seven great grandchildren, Heather Beasley, JJ Beasley, Kimberly Beasley, Ashley Beasley, Justin Beasley, Brandon Turman, and Jared Turman; two great-great grandchildren, Colten Beasley, and Corben Beasley. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 3:30 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Carlton family.
